Jammu Mar 6: On the 10th day of ongoing “Display Your Talent” 2008-09, the Inter-Collegiate / Departmental Competitions in Mime, Mimicry and Mom acting were conducted by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium. Prof R. L Bhat, Dean Social Sciences was the Chief Guest on this occasion.
In Mime competition, Government Women Colleges, Parade, Jammu clinched the first prize while Government Women College, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and Government Women College, Udhampur bagged the second and third prizes respectively. Certificate of Merit in Mime Competition was awarded to Cosmic Colleges of Education.
In Mimiary, Priya Raina from Government Women College, Gandhi Nagar, Vivek Mathur from Government P.G. College, Udhampur (Boys) and Gagandeep Sharma from GGM Science College, (Morning0 bagged first, second and third prizes respectively.
Ifra Mustaq from Government Women College, Parade was adjudged best in the Mono-acting while Roopali Sharma from Government Women College Parade and Prashansa Sharma from Government Women College, Gandhi Nagar Jammu were adjudged second and third respectively in the said contest.
Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik, Associate Dean (SW) Dr. Shailendra Singh, Assistant Dean (SW), Vijay Atri, Assistant Dean Cultural Affairs, Chaman Lal Bhagat, Assistant Registrar (SW) and Sachin Bhagat, Secretary Students Cultural Council were also present on this occasion.
