| Three killed, one injured in attacks | | | Jammu, Sep 21: Three persons were killed and one injured when a shell exploded during melting of iron scrap in border district of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir today.
A shopkeeper Mohmmad Sharief had collected iron scrap, including some old army shells, and was melting them in a furnace when one of a shells exploded in Haribhudda area, officials said.
Sharief, Mohmmad Aslam and Aijaz were killed on the spot, they said adding Sharief's son Alifdin was injured and hospitalised.
The old shell had some explosive material in it, they said adding that shop was also damged in the blast
