| HC Staff Welfare Association election held | | |

Jammu Mar 6- The election of J&K High Court Staff Welfare Association for the year 2009-2010 was held today in the High Court Complex Jammu.
Returning Officer ML Manhas (Registrar Judicial Jammu Wing) declared the results of the election of J&K High Court Staff Welfare Association in which Bashir Ahmed was declared elected as President by a margin of 56 votes in four corner contest. Ashok Gandhi was declared elected as General Secretary securing 77 votes in a five corner contest.
The executive of the Association will be nominated by the President as per the constitution. In today’s election 289 votes were polled and of these seven votes were declared invalid. JNF
