SAMBA, Apr 24: Pravaad Electoral Literacy Club of SPPND Govt. Degree College, Samba in collaboration with District Election Office, Samba organized a vibrant and educational Mock Parliament to enhance Voter Engagement. The event was organized under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri, Principal of the college. Mohd. Sayeed, District Nodal Officer SVEEP and Ashaq Rafiq, DIO, Samba presided over the event. This event proved to be an immersive journey into the heart of parliamentary procedures and constitutional values. The Mock Parliament aimed to empower students with a profound understanding of the intricate workings of democracy, a cornerstone of our nation. The real magic was unfolded when students engaged in spirited role-playing and thought-provoking debates. The experience left them not only well-versed with India's democratic fundamentals but also brimming with newfound confidence in their public speaking abilities. By addressing contemporary topics and effectively communicating their concerns, students learned to become engaged and informed citizens.
