JAMMU, Apr 24: NSS unit of Govt. Degree college Jourian organised a lecture session on Voters' Awareness and also a rally was taken from the college campus to Jourian Bazaar. These programmes were organised to create awareness amongst the people about the elections and the value of vote. Principal of the college Dr. Anuradha Pandoh also encouraged the students to participate in such activities and also made them aware about elections. An election is a formal group decision making process by which a population chooses an individual or multiple individuals to hold public office. Students were also asked to vote who have the right to vote. A large number of students participated in the programme. A reel making was also done by the students of GDC Jourian on 23rd of April 2024. The faculty members Dr. sheetal, Prof. Archana, Prof. Neeraj , Dr. Vandana , Sheraj, Neeraj and Iftar Ahmed were also present in this Rally. Dr. Suresh Sharma, HOD Dogri extended vote of thanks. |
