Jammu, Mar 6- Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in collaboration with North Zone Cultural Society Patalia today organized dance performances at new national higher secondary school Miran Sahib.
The principal of the school Sharanjit Kour who was the chief guest on the occasion appreciated the Academy and Cultural centre for organizing such a scintillating performances of Punjab, Rajasthan and Assam states. She said that out institution, staff and the students besides the local are privileged to witness these performances and thanked the artists who performed and hoped that such programs will be organized in future too.
Shamima Akhtar, special officer for cultural activities presented vote of thanks while Anil Tickoo conduced the proceedings.
Large number of intellectuals and prominent citizens of the area applauded the internationally renowned folk dances of the states of Punjab, Rajasthan and Assam.
