Divyanshi Mahajan from DPS Jammu secures top spot among J&K UT girls in JEE mains 2024

JAMMU, Apr 27: In a remarkable feat of academic excellence, Divyanshi Mahajan, a student from Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu, has emerged as the top performer among girls in the JEE Mains 2024 examination for the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. Scoring an impressive 99.62 percentile, Divyanshi clinched the coveted first rank in the girls' category, outshining over 14 lakh aspirants nationwide.
The JEE Mains 2024 examination, held on April 8th, 2024, served as a platform for Divyanshi to showcase her dedication and perseverance. Her remarkable achievement is a testament to her unwavering commitment to academic excellence and her consistent efforts in pursuit of her goals.
Throughout her academic journey at DPS Jammu, Divyanshi has been known for her focused approach to learning. Engaging actively in Inter-School Quiz Competitions and VVM activities, she has demonstrated a passion for holistic development beyond the confines of traditional academics.
Divyanshi's parents, Bandana Gupta and Bhushan Gupta, both esteemed teachers in government schools, expressed immense pride in their daughter's achievement. They acknowledged the crucial role played by DPS Jammu in nurturing Divyanshi's talents and providing her with a conducive learning environment.
Divyanshi's elder brother, Chittvan Gupta, an alumnus of DPS Jammu (Batch 2018-19), serves as a Technical Officer in the prestigious Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India, further adding to the family's legacy of academic and professional success.
