Grand celebration marks 101st Birth Anniversary of Veer Ram Chander Ji

Jammu, Apr 28: Under the auspices of Arya Samaj Dayanand Marg, City Chowk, the 101st Birth Anniversary of Veer Ram Chander Ji was commemorated with grandeur and reverence at Veer Ram Chander Samarak, Bathera. The event witnessed an outpouring of heartfelt tributes and cultural festivities, uniting residents of Bathera and neighboring areas in a spirit of camaraderie and celebration. The commemorative ceremony commenced with the solemn observance of Vedic Sandhya and Hawan, drawing participation from local residents and members of Arya Samajs across Jammu and Kashmir. Students from Arya Kanya Pathshala Kacchi Chawani, D.A.V School Kacchi Chawani, and Veer Ram Chander Smarak School Bathera contributed to the ceremonial proceedings, infusing the event with youthful energy and enthusiasm. A highlight of the celebration was the cultural program, showcasing the talents of students who enthralled the audience with their performances. Meritorious students were felicitated by esteemed dignitaries including Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta (President, Arya Samaj Dayanand Marg City Chowk), Sh. Narender Trehan (President, Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, J&K), and Sh. Balwan Singh (Secretary), among others. Renowned speakers, including Swami Vivekananda Ji from Gujarat and Acharya Yashvir Ji, delivered insightful speeches, enriching the gathering with wisdom and inspiration. Additionally, a free eye checkup camp organized by Sharp Sight Eye Hospitals - Gandhi Nagar provided essential healthcare services to over 250 individuals, furthering the mission of community welfare and service.
The event culminated with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, expressing gratitude to all attendees for their enthusiastic participation and contribution to the success of the event. Rishi Langer, a symbolic gesture of communal harmony and unity, was served to over 500 participants, keeping alive the legacy of Veer Ram Chander Ji for generations to come.
