KATHUA, Apr 29: With a steadfast commitment to combat the escalating threat of drug abuse, Kathua Police orchestrated a compelling Anti-Drug Awareness Rally in the Lakhanpur area. The initiative, conducted under the banner of "SAY NO TO DRUGS," aimed to enlighten the public, particularly the youth, about the dire consequences of substance abuse.
Led by the proactive police team of PS Lakhanpur, under the able guidance of DySP DAR Kathua and SHO PS Lakhanpur, the Anti-Drug Awareness Rally garnered significant participation from various segments of society. Students from Govt. High Secondary School Lakhanpur, alongside esteemed teaching staff, prominent citizens, and dedicated police officers, converged to amplify the campaign's message.
Exceeding expectations, more than 100 students and staff members actively engaged in the rally, echoing resounding Anti-Drug Slogans that reverberated throughout the Lakhanpur area. The primary objective of this concerted effort is to captivate the public's attention and disseminate the anti-drug message with maximum efficacy. This campaign serves as a critical milestone in Kathua Police's ongoing endeavors to combat the pervasive menace of drug abuse. By fostering collaboration between law enforcement and the community, Kathua Police reaffirms its unwavering commitment to safeguarding society from the perils of substance addiction.
