JAMMU, May 3: In a bid to foster financial literacy among students, ICICI Skill Foundation organized a seminar at Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Jammu, under the guidance of Er. Suket Gupta, the Principal of the institution. The seminar, held for students of the OM&CA Department, featured Yogesh Kumar from ICICI Skill Foundation Academy as the esteemed resource person.
During the interactive session, Yogesh Kumar enlightened students on the imperative need for financial literacy and management in today's dynamic world. He emphasized the significance of acquiring and applying various financial skills, such as personal financial management, budgeting, and savings, to navigate the complexities of modern-day finances effectively. Encouraging students to strive for self-sufficiency, Yogesh Kumar underscored the importance of achieving financial stability through prudent financial practices. His insights aimed to equip students with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed financial decisions and build a secure future for themselves.
The seminar witnessed the active participation of Nusrat Jan, Head of the OM&CA Department, and Shiveta, Lecturer-I, along with faculty members and students of the department.
