| Jawan commits suicide | | |

Jammu, March 8: An Army jawan of the Rashtriya Rifles allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said here today.
''The jawan identified as Sepoy Atul Kumar Tiwari of 8 RR shot himself with service weapon at around 2245 hrs last night while he was on duty, Defence spokesman Lt. Col Biplab Nath told UNI.
Lt Col Nath said enquiry has been initiated and investigations were on.
Reason behind this extreme step, is yet to be ascertained as some domestic problem behind the incident cannot not be ruled out, the spokesman added
