Srinagar March o8: Director General of Police, Mr Kuldeep Khoda today visited Hazratbal Shrine and reviewed the security, traffic and other arrangements made by Police in connection with Eid-ul-Milad Nabi.
He was accompanied by IGP Kashmir, Dr B. Srinivas, DIG, CKR, Mr Muneer Ahmad Khan, SSP Srinagar, Mr S. A Mujtaba, SSP Traffic, Mr Kifayat Hyder, SP Hazratbal and ASP Security.
Khoda went in an around the shrine and inspected the security arrangements made by police in detail. He also visited all the stalls set up by government departments, NGOs and different Police establishments.
Urging the Police to extend a helping hand to people visiting the shrine, He also gave some instructions on the spot.
. Khoda also had a detailed meeting with senior Police officers at Hazratbal police camp during which he was briefed about various traffic and other arrangements made by Police. He directed the Traffic Police to strictly regulise traffic so that no inconvenience is caused to the people visiting the shrine.
