JKAACL Kathua organises Bhajan Sandhya

Samba, May 10: To commemorate Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti, Sub Office of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Kathua in collaboration with Grameen Brahmin Sabha organised heart-warming ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ here today at Bhagwan Parshuram Temple, Gho Brahamana, Vijaypur where a large number of localites thronged to witness the soulful evening. The programme was held under the patronage and support of higher authorities of J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages, Jammu in which the authorities has directed district Officers to organise such kind of events at religious as well as historical places. As per the handout, Sanjeev Gupta SOCA, JKAACL Sub-Office, Kathua shared that it’s our moral responsibility to take our culture to the shrines. These kinds of soulful presentations always help the people of the region to get well known with their roots. He further assured the audience that he would request the authorities of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages to hold such programs to other major shrines of District Kathua and Samba in coming days. He also thanked the working committee of Bhagwan Parshuram Temple, Gho Brahamana, Vijaypur for their unconditional support. The programme was started with the vibrant singing of AjitPal and Party followed by the presentations of Raj Kumar and Party, Kuldeep Kumar and Party & Paramjeet and Party. The programme was concluded with a soulful presentation by Manjala Devi and Party who mesmerised audiences with their singing skills. The programme was ably conducted by Sat Pal Singh.
A localite namely Thoru Ram appreciated and lauded the efforts made by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages for bringing Bhajan evening to Gho Brahamana, Vijaypur . While appreciating the mesmerizing programme by the artists, he said that every artist has made him spell bound with their soulful and magical performance. He further requested the authorities for organizing such events on all such occasions in future.
