‘Youth, business community frustrated under Present regime’: Abrol
5/10/2024 10:47:28 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, May 10: National Conference is committed to ensure peace, progress, prosperity, stability and equality among all the sections of the society in Jammu and Kashmir, said Ankush Abrol Joint Secretary Jammu Province JKNC while addressing a meeting at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan. The meeting was organized by Zonal Secretary and Coordinator Jammu District (Urban) Dr Vikas Sharma.
While speaking on the occasion, Ankush Abrol urged upon the youth to get ready for playing a vital role to bring change. He said that the present scenario of J&K has pushed the youth towards depression and anxiety as they are worried about their future presently looming in darkness.
“Unemployment among youth has also impacted the life of the educated youth who are concerned about their career for which their parents are in a doldrums and deeply worried about their children”, he added.
Abrol criticised the stoppage of ‘Darbar Move’ practice as immoral by the government because it has adversely affected the business community. “The business community, small traders and commoners are all suffering due to policy paralysis and deep rooted corruption at all levels.
“The law and order situation has deteriorated, the business community is incurring losses, unemployment rate is highest in the country, corruption and scams are happening everywhere, administrators & bureaucrats are not being held accountable. This is the state of affairs in J&K,” Abrol said.
Zonal Secretary JKNC, Dr Vikas Sharma while speaking on the occasion said that it was under NC’s rule that the erstwhile state was among top states of our country. He said that from unemployment to literacy Jammu and Kashmir was and is in a far better position than other states of India. He lambasted those dividing people in the name of religion and region. He said that the time has come to defeat such forces and strengthen the hands of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Jenab Omar Abdullah for lasting peace in the Union Territory.
Slamming the JK Govt, Dr Vikas said that those who raise their voice against the faulty policies of the Govt, their genuine voice is suppressed by iron hands and harassed by different agencies implicating them in false cases, he bemoaned.
He reiterated the resolve of the NC party to put in backbreaking and painstaking efforts to restore statehood keeping the destructive elements at bay.
Sahil Kerni Secretary Jammu District (Urban) Youth National Conference while speaking on the occasion said that National Conference had always worked to provide more and more employment opportunities to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Various employment schemes like Rehbar-e-Talim, Rehbar-e-Khel, Rehbar-e-Zirat etc were launched by the NC government.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Randhir Singh, Gurnam Singh, Vinod Kumar, Vicky mehra, Abishek Gupta, Ridham Charak, Rahul Sharma and others.
