Nav Adarsh Celebrates Mother’s Day Extravaganza

Jammu, May 11: Nav Adarsh Hr. Sec. School, Kathua celebrated Mother’s Day in a grand and heartfelt manner, honoring the incredible mothers of its students. The school’s multipurpose hall was filled with cheers and joy as mothers took center stage, thrilling the audience with their superlative dance, singing and game performances.
The event commenced with a solemn tribute to Maa Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, through candle lighting and floral offerings. Adding to the significance of the occasion, the esteemed Chairperson of the school, Mrs. Lalita Katal, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Mrs. Katal, a motherly figure to all students and teachers alike, brought warmth and inspiration to the celebration. She said that this Mother’s Day celebration was a heartfelt acknowledgment of the selfless love and unwavering support that mothers provide. It underscored the school’s commitment to honoring and cherishing the invaluable contributions of mothers in shaping the future generation.
Principal Nav Adarsh, Mr. Riti Prakash Singh, delivered a stirring address, highlighting the pivotal role mothers play in nurturing successful individuals. He also enlightened mothers about the new assessment scheme, in line with the National Education Policy 2020, which will be implemented in the ongoing academic session.
Ms. Anuradha and Ms. Shepali flawlessly coordinated the proceedings, ensuring a seamless and memorable event for all attendees.
