Hps celebrated Mother’s Day with zeal, exuberance

Jammu/ Samba, May 11: The bond of a mother and her child is inexplicable and to celebrate this bond, Mother’s Day was celebrated in Humanity Public School Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana with great zeal and exuberance to foster the social and emotional health of the learners through motherly love and compassion. To grace the occasion Principal, Mr. Gaurav Charak, Vice Principal, Mrs. Anku Charak, Senior Incharge, Mr. Akashdeep Raina, Administrator Officer Mr. Ravinder Sadhu , Incharge Higher Secondary Wing, Mr. Parsidh Singh, Incharge Senior, Ms. Namrta Sharma, Incharge Primary Wing, Mrs. Vandana Sharma , IT Incharge Er Varinder Kumar, Sports Incharge, Mr. Mahan Singh & Co-Ordinator Pre-Primary Wing, Mrs. Shivani Sharma were also present
Through a myriad of presentations , learners of all grades have express their gratitude and respect for their mothers. Arpita and Pranshi intensely and devotedly spoke about Mother’s Day. It was a pleasure watching Avjot and Kanika of UKG recited rhymes dedicated to their mothers. Students of Middle Wing put up a great show expressing their love for their mothers through beautiful song. Through their skit and dance performance students of 9th class told that Mother’s unconditional love, support and feeling of a security blanket around us is unmatched. It was really delightful to see tiny tots of pre primary wing, tapping their feet and nodding their head to the beats of music and enjoying every bit of it.
Teachers made an earnest effort to instill the importance of motherhood with fun activities wherein the students of the middle wing came up with new and innovative ideas for their cards and drawings. In Inter class Card Making Competition Sarabjeet of 5th C Stood first (Trishool House), Saqib of 5th C (Akash House) and Aakriti of 5th A (Akash House) bagged 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Each card made by students was special and unique in its own way. Whereas in Inter class Drawing Competition Kerry of 6th D (Trishool House) secured first position, Arpita of 6th A (Agni) bagged 2nd position and Iqra Malik of 6th D (Agni House) got 3rd position. The outcome of their efforts was marvelous.
School Principal Mr. Gaurav Charak commended the students for their captivating performances and encouraged them to cherish and respect their mothers always. He reiterated that a mother’s love is the most powerful force on earth, urging all the young HPSians to recognize and appreciate this priceless gift.
All in all it was an enjoyable and memorable day for each and every child which left an indubitable mark on the innocent hearts.
