DPS Nagbani celebrates cultural fiesta

JAMMU, May 11: Dive into the spirit of unity with nature at the Cultural Fiesta themed 'Harmony with Nature' a cultural programme was organized by Delhi Public School Nagbani, Jammu. The dynamic event was a blend of tradition, creativity and environmental consciousness to offer an unforgettable celebration of diversity and sustainability. The event kicked off with a warm welcome extended to R K Rathore - Tehsildar Marh as the chief guest on the occasion. Arun Sharma, SHO Domana, Vandana Kumari-Ex Sarpanch of Marh Were the guests of honour. R.K. Verma-Principal of the school extended tokens of gratitude to the chief guest and other dignitaries with potted plants for gracing the occasion with their benign presence. The ceremonial lamp was lit by the guests present on the occasion along with Bhawna Madaan- Headmistress and coordinators of different wings. The Principal delivered the welcome address, he remarked 'The aim of the event is to promote harmony not only among different cultures but also between humanity and the natural world by celebrating our cultural heritage in conjunction with environmental stewardship, we hope to inspire positive change and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of all life'.
Students from grade Pre-Nursery to V mesmerized the audience with dance performances paying homage to the elements, alongside eco-friendly art installations showcasing the beauty of our natural world, creating a rich tapestry of cultural experiences. The chief guest in his words stated that harmony with nature aims to deepen the connection with the environment through various artistic expressions, performances and interactive activities. M K Ajathshatru Singh - Chairman, Kuwrani Dr. Ritu Singh -Founder Trustee and S. S. Sodhi-Director of the school congratulated the Principal and his team for putting up a wonderful show and conveyed their best wishes to all the worthy parents and the invited guests.
Headmistress of the school emphasized the importance of joining the journey of cultural discovery and environmental awareness during her vote of thanks. The programme was coordinated by Harsita Singh- Activity Coordinator. The programme concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem followed by a high tea for the parents.
