| ‘Karwan-e-Buzurg’ motivational tour flagged off | | |

Jammu, Mar 8- “Karwan-e-Buzurg”, the motivational tour for the senior citizens of far flung areas of Haveli and Mendhar Tehsil of Poonch District organized by the White Knight Corps under Ace of Spade Division to Delhi, Hyderabad and Secunderabad was flagged off today.
The tour is second of its kind in this year after “Karwan-e-Chisti”. It will provide the senior citizens a brief exposure to the economic progress, development and rich cultural heritage of the country. The tour is aimed at generating a sense of awareness and national integration amongst the people of these remote areas.
During the tour, the elders are scheduled to visit Charminar, Hussain Sagar, Salarjung Museum, Osman Sagar, Ramoji Film City and High-Tech city in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. During the visit they will get an opportunity to interact with the people of other states and share their culture, development and experiences with them.
Commander Krishna Ghati Brigade “flagged off” the Sadbhavana tour from Jhallas today. Prominent military and civilian dignitaries were present on the occasion. During interaction, senior citizens were requested to spread the message of peace and harmony amongst the locals of the places they visit. The locals and the families of these elders expressed their gratitude to the Army for giving them a unique opportunity to visit such historical places of interest.
