JAMMU, May 13: The department of youth services and sports zone Miran Sahib has organised, Inter School Zonal level tournament for boys and girls in the age group of U/14 & U/17 yrs in the sports discipline of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Chess, Badminton, & Handball Basketball Wrestling for Boys under the overall supervision of Joginder Sharma ZPEO Miran Sahib at Govt. Boys High School Simbal w.e.f. 13-05-2024 to 20-05-2024. The tournament /competition was inagurated by sh. Kuldeep Raj Sharma headmaster GBHS Simbal in the presence of Joginder Sharma ZPEO Miran Sahib and other fields staff of zone Miran Sahib are present their. The chief guest congratulates all the participants for taking part in sports activities at various levels and counted them the benefits of these sports events.
Speaking on this opening ceremony the Zonal Physical Education Officer, Miran Sahib Joginder Sharma congratulated all team participants for playing under sportsmanship during whole journey and assured them in future the department will try to organise such types of tournaments in more sports events. Today 550 Players from different Schools of (Govt & Private) Zone Miran Sahib will be participated in the tournament.
