Chairman JKBOSE reviews functioning of DIET Doda

DODA, May 13: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, Prof. Dr. Parikshat Singh Manhas, who is also Director SCERT, visited District Doda and reviewed the functioning of District Institute of Education Training there.
The visiting Dignitary was warmly welcomed by the DIET Principal Purshotam Gouria on his arrival in the district.
During the visit, the Director enquired about the status of the interventions currently under operation at training Institute including the recently conducted Middle Standard Examination, Trainings of Teachers, Preparation of Annual Plan, Action Research etc.
The Chairman interacted with staff members and exhorted them to utilize their full potential to make the training institute vibrant.
He also inspected ICT Lab of the institute where different training programmes are being conducted to implement the Digital Initiatives introduced for improving teaching learning process.
The Director also reviewed the status of under construction DIET building at Mochhan Doda and hoped the same will be completed by the executing agencies in the current financial year.
The Director further directed the Principal of the Institute to start a training program for Teachers under current AWP so that the teachers update their pedagogical skills.
During the visit, the Director SCERT was accompanied by Suraj Rathore Joint Secretary Exam JK BOSE, Kuldeep Sharma Deputy Secretary, Ranjeet Singh Manhas, Sunil Sharma, Rajesh Hali Senior Academic Officers Central Move Office and Assistant Secretary JK BOSE office Doda.
