SRINAGAR, May 15: Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board, attended a high-profile product and services launch event for Tesla Power USA at the Nigeen Club in Srinagar. The event, organized by the Barooj Group of Companies, witnessed participation from prominent business figures across Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Andrabi served as the Chief Guest, while the event was graced by Mushtaq Chaya, Chairman of the Hotelier's Club, Mr. Tariq Ghani, Chairman of the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kashmir, Rohit Karan, Executive Director of Tesla Power USA, and Pooja Sharma, National Business Head of Tesla Power, as guests of honor.
The launch showcased a range of Tesla Power USA's products, including electric vehicles, batteries, solar power appliances, and panels. The attendees were given a detailed video demonstration of these innovative technological products and services, now available in Srinagar. Bilal Parray briefed the audience on the new facilities, products, and business schemes introduced in the valley.
In her address, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi emphasized the transformative potential of the new technological platform for Kashmir's business sector. "In peaceful Kashmir, global platforms are eager to extend their business chains to this paradise on earth, and our brilliant minds are showcasing their innovative skills to connect with these new businesses. J&K has now become the land of possibilities, with new initiatives in the development sector creating job opportunities for our youth," said Dr. Andrabi.
She expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for establishing lasting peace in Kashmir and commended Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha's administration for fostering a business-friendly environment in the Union Territory. Dr. Andrabi also lauded the Barooj Group of Companies for their new venture and appreciated the support from local business leaders.
"I am pleased to see business bodies extending their support and encouragement to this new initiative. We need to strengthen this business-friendly environment in J&K for our collective good," she added.
The event marks a significant milestone in advancing business development in Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting the region's potential as a burgeoning hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
