Sunny and Renu Nanda Depart for International Raffa Championship in Algeria

JAMMU, May 17: Sunny Nanda and Renu Nanda have been selected to compete in the Open International Raffa Championship 2024, scheduled to be held in Touggourt, Algeria, from May 20th to May 25th, 2024. The championship is organized by the Confederation Africaine de Raffa.
To mark the occasion, the J&K Sports Speed Ball Association organized a flag-off ceremony. Sunny and Renu Nanda will represent India in two events: singles and mixed doubles. This marks the first time an Indian team is participating in the Open African Raffa Championship. The full expenditure for their participation, including entry fees and travel, will be sponsored by the J&K Sports Speed Ball Association.
On this occasion, Dr. Anita Sharma, Vice President of KKK, Founder of Maven Vibes, author, and youth leadership coach, extended her best wishes to the team. Congratulating the team, Dr. Sharma expressed her confidence that under Sunny Nanda's leadership, the team will achieve victory and bring glory not only to J&K but to the entire nation. She emphasized that this team will inspire a sense of love and dedication towards sports among the youth.
