| Udhampur police solves theft case, 2 accused arrested | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, May 17: Udhampur Police have solved a theft case of PS Udhampur by arresting 02 accused persons involved in the commission of crime and recovered stolen property (02 ceat tyres along with Rim of load carrier) from their possession.
Police Station Udhampur received a complaint from one namely Parmanand S/o Lal chand R/O chari swail Udhampur that some unknown thieves have stolen 02 no. of ceat tyres alongwith rim of his load carrier bearing regd. No. JK14H 6817. In this regard, a case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Udhampur
Taking cognizance of the matter, a team of PS Udhampur headed by SHO PS Udhampur rounded up few suspects and put to sustained questioning. During which two suspects namely:-
Retik Kumar S/O Vijay Kumar R/O Gandala, Udhampur, Sherbaz S/O Ali Hasan R/O Jhakhar Tehsil & District Udhampur confessed their involvement in the said case who have been arrested by the Police team.
On the confession of both accused persons stolen property (02 ceat tyres alongwith rim) have been recovered. Police team also seized one auto bearing Regd. No. JK14H 8406 from the above said accused persons which was used in such comission of theft.
Further investigation into the matter is in progress. |
