BJP Mahila Morcha’s role crucial in political landscape of J&K: Kavinder

JAMMU, May 17: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today emphasized the pivotal role that the Party's Mahila Morcha have to play in shaping the political dynamics of Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at a gathering of Mahila Morcha activists at Party headquarters here today, he underscored the importance of their involvement in engaging with the community and expanding the Party's reach. He stressed that the Mahila Morcha holds significant potential in influencing and mobilizing the electorate, particularly the youth and new voters. He urged the activists to actively connect and interact with nearly one lakh new and young voters across the Union Territory, fostering a strong bond between them and the Party. "Empowering women in politics is not just about representation but about active participation and leadership. The Mahila Morcha has a crucial role in amplifying the voices of women and addressing their concerns," he stated.
Kavinder further emphasized the need for Mahila Morcha activists to champion the BJP's agenda of development, progress, and inclusive governance, especially at the grassroots level. He encouraged them to proactively engage in community outreach programs, awareness campaigns, and social initiatives to strengthen the Party's grassroots presence.
He reiterated the BJP's commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering women in all spheres of life, including politics. He assured the Mahila Morcha of the Party's unwavering support and urged them to continue their dedicated efforts in advancing the Party's ideals and objectives. The Mahila Morcha activists expressed their gratitude to Kavinder Gupta for his guidance and pledged to wholeheartedly contribute to the Party's endeavors in building a prosperous and inclusive Jammu. Prominent among those who were present in the meeting including Sanjita Dogra, Reema Padha, Neha Mahajan, Vaishno Devi, Prerna Nanda, Usha Rajput, Santosh Sharma, Suman Raina and Sunita Raina.
