Darakhshan Andrabi promotes, spiritual guidance in Jammu, Kashmir

SHOPIAN, May 18: Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board, recently undertook a series of impactful initiatives aimed at community welfare and spiritual upliftment in Shopian and Poonch regions of Jammu & Kashmir.
Dr. Andrabi convened a significant meeting with local religious preachers and youth at Hirpora, Shopian, organized by Javed Ahmad Qadiri, Executive Officer of J&K Waqf Board for Shopian. During the meeting, she emphasized the critical role of religious leaders in educating youth about the perils of drug abuse, advocating instead for the teachings of Sufis and spiritual saints. Dr. Andrabi articulated her vision for fostering an inclusive and humanitarian society marked by peace and prosperity.
Following the meeting, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi led a large vehicle rally from Hirpora to Poonch to participate in the Mohabbat-e-Rasool Conference. This rally showcased unity and community spirit, resonating with the positive energy and aspirations of local youth and religious leaders alike.
At Pir Ki Gali, a significant location atop the Pirpanjal range where the Kashmir Valley meets Poonch, Dr. Andrabi paid homage at the shrine of Peer Sheikh Ahmed Karim (RA), a revered spiritual figure known for his profound teachings. She also assessed the infrastructure needs of the shrine, demonstrating her commitment to preserving and enhancing spiritual landmarks in the region.
Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi's endeavors underscore her dedication to fostering inclusivity, spiritual enlightenment, and communal harmony across Jammu & Kashmir. Her engagements with religious leaders and youth reflect her proactive approach to nurturing a supportive environment for growth and mutual understanding.
