Kargil, May 18: Indian Army organized a motivational tour as part of Kargil Vijay Diwas Rajat Jayanti for 30 students from Batalik Sector on 18 May 2024. The tour aimed to educate and inspire the students about the sacrifices made by Indian Army during the 1999 Kargil War.
The tour, which commenced from Biamah culminated at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras. At Kargil War Memorial, the students were briefed about valour & bravery of soldiers of Indian Army which left a lasting impact on the young minds.
The students also participated in drawing competition based on the theme ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas Rajat Jayanti’, wherein students showcased their talent. The tour concluded with students returning to Biamah, carrying with them the memories and lessons that will last a lifetime.
The initiative played a crucial note in educating and inspiring the youth, ensuring that the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces are never forgotten. |
