JAMMU, May 20: As per reliable sources one person namely Mohd Rashid who is a resident of Chua Chak Bishnah, murdered his own wife today on 20.05.2024.The deceased lady has been identified as Shamshad Begum W/o Mohd Rashid R/o Chak Chua. It is to noteworthy to mention that, the police acted swiftly and succeeded in apprehending the accused husband immediately after the incident, who also tried to harm himself, just after committing this gruesome murder, but was later overpowered by the police and apprehended. The Scene of Crime was properly preserved & Crime Photography team and FSL team were summoned on the spot, to pick up the vital evidences so that the accused could be connected with the offence. The dead body of the deceased has been further taken to Sub District Hospital Bishnah, where the postmortem of the deceased is currently underway, by a board of doctors. Further investigation of the case is going on. |
