Lecture session on "Personal Hygiene" organized

JAMMU, May 20: On the occasion of Swachhta Pakhwada-2024, CVPPPL (Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt. Ltd.) organized a lecture session on "Personal Hygiene" at Sarvodaya Middle School, Rajiv Nagar, Narwal, Jammu. The event, held at the CVPPPL Corporate Office in Jammu, aimed to educate school children on the importance of personal hygiene.
Anand Kumar Tembhare, GM (HR) at CVPPPL, addressed the students, emphasizing the crucial role of personal hygiene in maintaining overall health and well-being. Following his address, Dr. Randeep Kaur from National Hospital, Jammu, delivered an informative lecture on personal hygiene.
Dr. Kaur detailed the basic techniques of cleaning and sanitation, stressing that good personal hygiene practices are among the most effective ways to protect ourselves and others from illness. She highlighted that regularly washing body parts and hair with soap and water can prevent or control many diseases and conditions.
As part of the program, hand-wash and health drinks were distributed among the 200 students of the school, reinforcing the practical application of the hygiene practices discussed during the session. The initiative was well-received and served as a valuable educational opportunity for the students, aligning with the goals of Swachhta Pakhwada to promote cleanliness and hygiene.
