| BJP offers land for Amrnath shrine | | | Early Times Report Jammu, March 9: Raising pitch for Lok Sabha elections the Bhartiya Janata Party has announced that it will allocate 100 acres of land for construction of Amarnath Temple in Jammu and Kashmir if it is voted to power in the ensuing Parliamentary elections. BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu promised to allocate land to the shrine board within days of assuming power. Naidu while addressing party workers at Secundrabad in Hydrabad on Monday said that BJP if voted to power would fulfill people’s aspirations within 100 days. He said that BJP will work towards creation of separate a Telangana region. The BJP leader elaborated his party’s 100 days programmes for building confidence among the party workers. Formation of the Telangana State, SC categorization and several other issues would be part of the programme, the BJP leader said. Naidu said that that if BJP came to power on its own strength it would introduce Indian model of education. Claiming that the TDP led Grand Alliance lacked credibility, he demanded that the Left parties make it clear that they would not ally with the Congress after elections.
