Jammu, Mar 10- President National Mazdoor Conference Subash Shastri has urged the government to issue formal orders with regard to implementation of 6th pay commission report in favour of the employees of the state government and pensioners.
Addressing meeting of NMC activists here today, Shastri said that issuance of SRO without any further delay is imperative to remove the uncertainty over it, what so ever, among the employees. He emphasized that a detailed ready reckoner should also be issued along with SRO
Pleading the cause of state government employees and pensioners, Shastri demanded that till the benefits of 6th pay commission are given to them they should get the benefit of two DA installments due form July and January last, as rupees 200 crore are already available under the specially marked provision for the purpose in the current financial year’s budget.
Among other demands projected by Shastri included regularization of all daily wagers, timely payment of wages and salary and revival of LTC.
Rajan Babu Khajuria, Sunil Kochhar (PPEU), Sham Lal Sharma, Ram Lal Sharma, A. Malik, Parshotam Kumar, Balbir Kumar, Com. Barkat Ram, Darshan Lal, Natha Ram and Surrinder Kumar also spoke on the occasion.
