GDC RS Pura bids a fond farewell to outgoing batch of the college

RS PURA, May 24: To bid adieu to the outgoing batch of GDC R. S. Pura , a Farewell party was organized in the college campus on 24-05-2024. The day was a Fiesta devoted to the years spent together with B.A/B.Sc Sem. 6th , to reminisce joyous moments. The hall was festooned with decorations. Being a colorful affair, the Farewell bash rocked the day for all the party attendees. The eye catching moments were the dance performances of the students. The highlights of the event were the students of the year contest and participation in different games. Prof. (Dr.)Rajni Bhagat, Principal of the College gave her blessings and assured the students that they will always get support of College even after they leave the college. She further added that, I am sure you are taking the treasure of knowledge in your head and heart today from this temple of learning, Dr.Rajinder Sharma, Convener IQAC,applauded the batch as being one of the brightest ones. He also encouraged them by saying that they should never compromise with their principles and abide by the moral values and discipline they have learnt from the College.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shivani Manchanda, Convener Cultural Committee wishing outgoing students bright future ahead said that a good student can do nothing without a good teacher, and a teacher feels bad luck when they do not get a good student. It is the teacher's responsibility that they have to bring a student on the right track. However, it is also the responsibility of a student to follow their teacher's orders to be on the right way. They also need to support each other equally. Other who spoke on the occasion were Dr. Neena Gupta, Dr. Chanchal Angral, Prof. Shifali Abrol and Prof. Sudesh Kumar. Mr Ritik Paul and Miss Mananjot Kour were declared as the student of the year 2024. The students enjoyed the occasion and departed from the college with heavy hearts.
