HPS boys triumph in Inter School Zonal Level Kho Kho Tournament

JAMMU, May 24: Humanity Public School (HPS), Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, celebrated a remarkable victory as their boys' teams clinched the first positions in the Under-14 and Under-17 categories at the Inter School Zonal Level Kho Kho Tournament held at Smailpur Stadium. The event witnessed fierce competition among teams from various schools, with the HPS boys demonstrating exceptional skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The U-14 Kho Kho team, consisting of Gourav Kumar, Manav Singh, Paras, Radesh Kumar, Arpit Sharma, Abid Malik, Sameer Vishvkarma, Ansh, Aslan Malik, Gouresh, Shivam, and Raghav, showcased their prowess by outperforming their competitors and securing the top position.
Similarly, the U-17 team, comprising Aryan, Muzammil, Krish, Arun Kumar, Piyush (9th B), Ankit, Anshpreet, Vansh Kumar, Mohd. Ishan, Puneet, Hafeez, Soham, Sahil, Piyush (9th A), and Aditya, displayed exceptional coordination and skill, leading them to victory.
The success of these teams is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players, guided by their coaches, Ajay Sharma and Surjeet. Their collective effort and determination were instrumental in securing the wins and bringing glory to their school.
In a special assembly held to honor the winners, Principal Gaurav Charak and Vice Principal Anku Charak felicitated the victorious teams in the presence of the entire school fraternity. The principal congratulated the students and praised their gaming skills, while also acknowledging the significant contributions of the coaches. He emphasized the school's commitment to promoting physical education and the importance of indigenous sports like Kho Kho.
