JSS, Kathua celebrates investiture ceremony

KATHUA, May 24: Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua, celebrated its Investiture Ceremony with great pomp and splendor, marking a significant event in the school calendar. The ceremony was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Kewal Krishan, JKAS, Regional Transport Officer, Lakhanpur; Tasbina Sheikh, JKAS, Deputy Registrar of Cooperatives for Samba and Kathua; and Kaushal Kumar, JKPS, Superintendent of District Jail, Kathua.
The event highlighted the formal induction of the newly elected student council, who will assume various leadership roles within the school. The new Head Boy, Tanuj, and Head Girl, Devyanshi, were presented with their badges of office, symbolizing their responsibilities in leading the student body. Supporting them in their duties are Vice Head Boy Sanidhya and Vice Head Girl Nandini.
In the sports department, Devanshu was appointed as the Sports Captain, with Parth as Vice Sports Captain. Leadership in the school's houses was also formalized, with Parth and Arshiya as the Captain and Vice Captain of Wisdom House, Rupma and Aditya for Passion House, Raj Kawar and Kashish for Optimism House, and Keshika and Dherya for Harmony House.
Additionally, the ceremony recognized the club in-charges who will oversee various co-curricular activities. The Journalism and Literary Club will be led by Spranjal and Upasana; the Eco Club by Urvi and Jiya; the Art and Culture Club by Anamika and Ritvik; and the Youth and Sports Club by Shashwat and Harman.
The Investiture Ceremony was a significant event, emphasizing the importance of leadership and responsibility among students. It also provided an opportunity for the school community to celebrate the achievements and potential of its students, under the guidance and mentorship of their teachers and esteemed guests.
