| Bovine smuggling attempts foiled, 50 Bovines Rescued in Rehambal | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, May 24: Udhampur Police rescued 50 Bovines and seized three vehicles used for bovine smuggling. Police team of Police Station Rehambal led by its SHO foiled three bovine smuggling bids in which 50 bovines were rescued and three vehicles bearing registration numbers JK02DD- 6609 (Truck) JK19A- 1487 (truck), JK02DD 5314 (Tata Mobile) seized. Accused person namely Manzoor Ahmed S/O Abdul Subhan R/O Bankote, Banihal (Driver of JK02DD 6609), got arrested, while the two others accused persons fled away from the spot after leaving behind their vehicles on road. In this regard, three different cases FIRs under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rehambal and further investigation of the cases are underway. |
