JAMMU, May 25: Directorate of Ayush in collaboration with P.S.P.S Govt. College for Women, Gandhi nagar organized Yoga Event at GCW Gandhi nagar as a prelude to 10th International Yoga day celebration by Dr. Arun Gupta, Dr. Aruna Bhat and Dr. Zenuka gupta under the guidance of Director Ayush J&K Dr. Mohan Singh. The activity was success only due to continuous encouragement and support of the principal of the college Dr. S.P Saraswat. Dr. Arun Gupta was the chief resource person who demonstrated various Yoga Asanas which were beneficial to the stake holders. The programme was well coordinated by Dr. Zenuka gupta (Medical officer Ayush). The event themed Yoga for women Empowerment saw enthusiastic participation from 110 persons. The programme was attended by Dr. Anupama Pandotra, Convener Health centre committee along with Prof. Nargis nelofar, Dr. Shaista Aijaz, Prof. Raheela Mushtaq, Prof. Anupama Sharma (NSS PO UNIT 1), Prof. Sugandha mahajan (NSS PO UNIT 2), Prof. Suman bala (ANO NCC) along with Hostel warden Anita kotwal lend her immense support for the smooth and efficient conduct of the event.
