| Backward classes asked to fight for rights | | | Jammu, Mar 10- Expressing its displeasure over the non-seriousness of the state government towards their problems and rights, Backward Class Democratic Party President Sheraz Ahmed Azhari today asserted that the party will fight its rights and get the recommendations of the Mandal Commission implemented. Addressing media persons here today he alleged that the attitude of the state government towards poor and downtrodden people of Jammu and Kashmir was not good, Azhari called upon the community members to get united and fight jointly for their legitimate rights. He said ‘we have to protect our legal constitutional rights by way of fighting the Parliament elections on all the six seats in the state so that our party is in a position to come close to he masses and raise their voice forcefully. Azhari has appealed to the every section of the society to strengthen the party for the overall good and welfare of the backward, downtrodden, poor and those living below the poverty line. Abdul Majid Malik, Dr.Ritu, Mohammed Nisar Ahmed, Ch.Bashir Ahmed Khatana, Meher Singh and Vicky Kumar executive members were also present at the press conference.
