Early Times Report

JAMMU, MARCH 10 -Srimad Bhagvad Gita satsang parvachans were delivered here at Bhagwati Nagar Ashram by Shri Vasudev Anand Ji-one of the blessed disciple of Param Lok Sant Shri Asa Ram Ji Bapu.
Speaking on the occasion of Holi-Purnima, he said that blessed are those who don’t miss the opportunity of satsang. Indeed Shri Hari is pleased over their deeds and invites those pure souls to the site of satsang.
It is satsang which purifies the innerheart of the human being and thus prepares a roadmap for self-realisation. One who does not follow righteous path is sure to fall in evil practices and destruction of mankind. It is only the pure soul through whom good deeds for the upliftment of mankind are done.
In Srimad Bhagvad Gita Lord Krishna has enshrined that one who completely surrenders before Me is liberated from re-birth and rests in eternal peace.
Quoting the 3rd Shiloka of 7th chapter of Srimad Bhagvad Gita which refers to Gyan and Vigyan, he explained that there is hell of difference between the two terms.
Giving instance, he said, “you have the knowledge that one cannot survive without food and water but at the same time if you have the sense what to take and what not to take how much to take viewing its quality also, you are surely following the term ‘Vigyan’. Health consciousness is more important for attainment of the ultimate goal.
Ashram’ hall was echoing with sweet and devotional bhajans of Lord Shri Krishna. At one time it appeared as if all are lost in the rememberance of Lord Krishna forgetting the world in immersion of the God.
Satsang pravanchans shall continue to be delivered here tomorrow (Wednesday) in two shifts (morning from 10 a.m.).
Satsang will be delievered in Bishnah town also on March 12, 2009 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and in Ramgarh from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
