| FIVE killed, 48 INJURED as bus skids | | |
Rajouri,September 21 : Five passengers died while 48 others were injured in a road accident near Rehan in Rajouri on Thursday as the bus in which they were travellng skidded off the road.
The bus was on itsa way from Kandi to Rajouri when it met with an accident.
Police said, five passengers died on the spot while dozen others were critically injured.
One woman passenger was among five killed.
SSP Rajouri Farooq Khan said, five passengers died onthe spot while 10 crtically injured were airlifted to Govt Medical college in Jammu.
He said resuce teams were immediately rushed to the spot.Large number of local residents rushed to the spot to help local authorities in rescue operations.
The accident happened around 3.30 p.m.
