JAMMU, May 30: The Psychological cum Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Government Degree College (GDC) Kunjwani, in collaboration with Sainik Colony, hosted an enlightening awareness session titled "Journalism and Mass Communication: Navigating the 21st Century." The event took place under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Dr. Manisha Sarup Kohli, Principal of the College. The session featured Vivek Suri, Principal Correspondent of Take 1 Channel, as the guest speaker. Suri delivered an engaging talk, highlighting the critical role of journalism in today's digital era and introducing students to emerging forms of journalism. He also shared his personal experiences, encouraging students to consider journalism as a viable and impactful career path. Suri stressed the importance of combating societal negativity through proactive and timely actions. His interaction with the students was met with enthusiasm, as many participated actively and shared their perspectives on the field of journalism.
