Vice Chancellor CUJ, released first issue of Devika magazine

Jammu, May 30 : On the occasion of its 11th Board of Studies Meeting, the Department of Educational Studies, Central University of Jammu (CUJ), Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sanjeev Jain released the first issue of a bi-annual Magazine - ‘Devika (The flow of Knowledge)’.
On this occasion, the Head, Department of Educational Studies, Prof. Asit Mantry, Prof. Rajeev Rattan Sharma, University of Jammu, Prof Laxmidhar Behera, RIE Bhubaneshwar, Prof. GK Rout, IGNTU, Amarkantak, Prof. Suram Singh, Prof. J. N. Baliya, Prof. Ritu Bakshi, Dr. Uday Pratap Singh, Dr. Kiran, Dr. Aman, Dr. Ravi Vanguri, Dr. Yad Ram, Dr. Mohan and Dr. Jai Bhawani Singh from CUJ were prominently present.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sanjeev Jain, said that the initiative of releasing Devika Magazine is a proud moment for the Department as well as the University. It should be accomplished in future with the great enthusiasm and interest in the department.He further emphasized such platforms where the students can get the opportunities to showcase their talents in various forms.
Prof.Asit Mantry, Head Department of Educational Studies, stated that the Devika is a platform that reflects the academic strength and creative spirit of the students, scholars, and faculty. It serves as a medium for sharing innovative ideas, critical analyses, and educational insights that contribute to the broader discourse in the field of education. It will not only foster the intellectual capabilities of our students, scholars, and faculty but also will reinforce our commitment to academic excellence and research.
The faculty editors – Dr. Kiran, Dr. Aman and Dr. Ravi Vanguri said that the issue of Devika is a testament to the collaborative efforts of scholars, students, faculty, and the editorial team. The magazine displays a diverse range of creativity in the shape of different poems, articles, short stories, essays, paintings, etc. written by scholars and students of the department. In the end, Prof. Mantry congratulated and thanked the patronage of the magazine, the advisory board, the editorial board, and the editorial team. He invited more and more original articles, short stories, essays, paintings, dialogues, poems, etc. of creative works of students, scholars, and faculty members for the next issue of the magazine.
