Grievance redressal meet held

Doda, May 30 : Indian Army organised a Grievance Redressal Meet at Gundna on 29 May 2024 to interact with the Ex-servicemen, and Veer Naris residing in Gundna, district Doda to resolve their pension anomalies and grievances. Six Ex-servicemen and one Veer Nari attended the event. The event was aimed at providing a platform for veterans to share their experiences and to connect with each other and to show appreciation for the contribution and sacrifices made by them. The Indian army’s dedication to the welfare of Ex-servicemen is a testament to its commitment to serving and protecting the nation. The army is proud of its veterans and is committed to providing them with the support they need to lead fulfilling lives after their service to the nation. The gathering was also briefed about the various welfare and financial schemes launched by Indian Armed Forces/Central Government/J&K Government in recent times and welfare schemes by Zila Sainik Board and ECHS department. In addition, they were also educated about functioning of ESM Help Line, ECHS and Pensioner benefits including to the post retirement schemes.This kind of meet stand as a testimonial to the veterans and Veer Naris that the organization cares for them and always stands for them. The Ex-servicemen expressed their appreciation for the Indian Army’s efforts to organize such meets and provide support to veterans. They also shared their experiences and offered suggestions for improving the welfare of Ex-servicemen.
