SMVDU Katra hosts inspirational visit for the students of KC Public School

JAMMU, June 1: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, proudly hosted a group of enthusiastic students from K.C. Public School, Jammu, as part of its comprehensive outreach activity program. This initiative aimed to enhance students' knowledge and awareness about the opportunities available at higher educational institutions. The visit was meticulously organized by the NSS and NCC teams of SMVDU, ensuring a well-rounded and informative experience for the young visitors. The coordination of the event was led by NSS Programme Coordinator, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, and Dr. Varun Dutta, Asst. Prof. at SMVDU, along with Avdesh Gupta. Throughout the day, the students, accompanied by their teachers, explored various state-of-the-art facilities within the university. They were given an in-depth tour of the various Labs, Central Workshop, Central Library, and the cutting-edge 3D Printer Lab. The tour also included a visit to the university's impressive auditorium, where the students could envision themselves participating in future academic and extracurricular activities. The visit served as a significant motivational boost for the students, encouraging them to aspire to join higher educational institutes upon completing their class 12th. More than 50 students, along with their dedicated teachers, actively participated in this educational excursion, gaining invaluable insights into university life and academic opportunities. The Principal and teachers of K.C. Public School expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the authorities of SMVDU for hosting this enlightening visit. They acknowledged the university's efforts in inspiring the next generation of students to pursue higher education and achieve their academic goals.
