| Kharu voices great concern over JAKFED employees’ problems | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 12-Senor vice president and spokesman All India Forward Bloc Dr. A.K. Kharu visited the striking employees of JAKFED and voiced his great concern and anguish over the state Government’s attitude towards these employees. He said that the employees of JAKFED are without salary for last 20 months. These employees have not been given the benefits of C.P Fund, even when the same has been deducted from their salary and this C.P. Fund has not been deposited into their account. Dr. Kharu while expressing his sympathies with the employees of JADFED urged upon the Omar Abdullah led coalition Government to come to the rescue of striking employees and solve their problems at the earliest. Such attitude of the state Government and the management of JADFED is against the co-operative movement, which was a dream of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. This attitude of the state and the central Government towards the co-operative movement speaks about the volume of corruption that the higher authorities have even sold the property of JAKFED and the said hefty sums have gone into the pockets of higher authorities and the ministers at helm of affairs from time to time, he alleged. Dr. Kharu further added that the government should fulfill the promises made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir by both National conference and Congress. The manifestos of these parties are not being given the practical shape, he said adding that both the ruling alliance partners have totally forgotten their promises made with the people.
