Massive voters' turnout hints at decisive mandate for BJP: Kavinder
6/1/2024 10:24:45 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 1: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Saturday asserted that enthusiastic polling during all the phases of Lok Sabha elections is indicative of party getting clear mandate to again form the Government at the Centre.
The BJP stalwart leader was chairing a meeting of party activists here at BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar. He highlighted the party's commitment to development, national security, and welfare policies that resonate with the aspirations of the people. "Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP has consistently worked towards the progress and prosperity of the country", he said, adding that BJP's development initiatives, economic reforms, and focus on ensuring safety and security have earned its leadership the trust and support of the citizens.
Kavinder expressed confidence that the people's support will translate into a decisive mandate of 400 plus seats once the counting of votes will be completed on June 4, 2024.
Emphasizing on the importance of grassroots activism and the role of party workers in mobilizing voters, he said that every worker of the party has played a pivotal role in converting people's support into votes and that will lead the party to a thumping majority. He said that each and every worker has played a crucial role in the party's mission to build a stronger and more prosperous India.
Kavinder said that infrastructure development, job creation, and social welfare programmes have always been central to the BJP's agenda as the government has launched numerous initiatives to uplift every section of society. "From the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to the Ayushman Bharat scheme, our policies are designed to benefit the common man and ensure inclusive growth", he said, adding that together, we will work tirelessly to secure a bright future for the country.
