| De-addiction camp concludes | | |

Jammu, Mar 12- The week long de-addiction camp organized by Jammu and Kashmir Society for Promotion of Youth and Masses at Shiv Mandir, Bhagwati concluded here today. Twenty intravenous drug users were provided treatment at the camp and given drugs free of cost.
The Society is involved in prevention of drug abuse and HIV/AIDS in Jammu since last 15 years and is running de-addiction-cum- rehabilitation centre at Purkhoo which is a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation centre set up to treat any kind of chemical use A number of clients were registered during the camp but one of the major problems that came across while selecting those clients for re-addiction was abscess problem, as many drug users were suffering from abscess related problem.
