Vishal Thappar ace Sabre Fencer of J&K selected for Senior Asian Fencing Championship to be held at Kuwait

JAMMU, June 6: Vishal Thapar International Fencing Players once again show his class of Sabre a fencing Technique and fitness during trials for Senior Asian Championship at New Delhi .on the basis of His outstanding performance during Last Senior national Fencing Championship by winning Individual bronze Medal. Pertinent to mention that Vishal Thappar is Presently working with Indian Navy as Chief Paty Officer recruits Under Sports quota from J&K and also a Khelo India Athlete and practising at NCOE Patiala . Vishal thapar has credit many national medals including Senior / National Games Juniors , Youth-in his Accounts including senior Commonwealth Gold medal which was held at Canberra Australia.
Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Madam Nuzat Gul , has congratulated Vishal Thappar and have extended best wishes to parents for this achievement and wished best of luck for the competition.
As Per Communication received From Fencing Association of India. the team is Cleared by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Goi with Full Cost to Sports Authority of India (SAI)
International fencer Rashid Ahmed Choudhary, International qualified Referee, Fencing J&K termed it a proud moment and extended wishes to fencer for the prestigious events expressing hope that Vishal will make the country proud at the international platform. Meanwhile senior fencing coach, J&K Sports Council, Rachna Jamwal, Instructor Shotu Lal Sharma, Adv. Supriya Chouhan and Maninder Pal Singh alongwith all the fencing fraternity wishes best of luck to Vishal thapar .
