Srinagar: Two persons were injured in a road accident across the valley on Friday, Police sources told .
Sources said that one person was injured after a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05A-8007 turned turtle at Haigam Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Eyewitness said that Tata sumo turned turtle as the driver was trying to overtake another vehicle. The injured was identified as Mohammad Shaban Lone of Dilna Baramulla who was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.
In another incident, one person was injured after a bus hit an auto rickshaw at Hari Singh High Street in Srinagar.
The injured identified as Gulzar Ahmed Bhat of Harwan Srinagar was later rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Police also registered a case and started investigations.
