Jammu: Accusing the Jammu University of playing with the career of students, Dozens of first year students of Government College for women, Parade on Friday staged demonstrations for restricting them to appear in the examinations.
Acoordint to reports that early Friday morning dozens of first year students of Government College for women, Parade staged demonstrations against the Jammu University and alleged that they were prevented from appearing in the examinations despite attending regular classes and depositing examination fees.
The protesting students accompanied by their parents and the activists of the Kranti Dal shouted slogans against the University and demanded justice for the students who have been deprived from appearing in the examinations.
Vikram Singh youth president of Kranti Dal said that the University has put the career of the students at stake. He said in case the University fails to deliver the justice to the left out students indefinite strike will be held in the colleges across the province.
