| Police rescues youth from his alleged murderers | | |

Srinagar: Police on Friday rescued a person from the group of people, who were allegedly trying to kill him, police sources told .
Eyewitness told , that five persons were trying to kill a youth identified as Feroz Ahmed Bhat at Magam. Police sources said that immediately residents of the area informed the police who arrived on the spot within no time.
A senior police official told that the youth had a fight over some issue after which five people attacked Feroz and wanted to eliminate him. Police identified the arrested persons as Mohammad Iqbal Bhat son of Manzoor Ahmed Bhat of Agrikalan, Khursheed Ahmed Bhat son of Ghulam Rasool, Javid Ahmed Bhat son of Ghulam Rasool Bhat, Mohammad Ashraf Mir son of Habibullah and Manzoor Ahmed War son of Ghulam Nabi War all hailing from Sohipora Kunzer.
Police later registered a case against the accused and started investigations.
