| Kohli alleges use of sub-standard material by NBCC’ demands probe | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 13- Alleging use of sub standard material in laying the sewerage pipes in Jammu city, President Shiv Sena Hindustan Dimple Kohli has urged the government to get the works done by the NBCC inspected by a reputed independent agency. He said all the money being incurred on sewerage pipes by the NBCC is going to drains as the material being used for the purpose is totally of sub-standard quality and expressed apprehensions about the failure of the project. He said that some forces are making good money out of this prestigious project as a result of which the government machinery is totally silent on this sensitive project. He said that during several meetings with the state officers in the past, the NBCC was categorically told about the usage of sub-standard material but there seems no improvement with the quality. He said that majority of the ditches and manholes have been left uncovered causing great inconvenience to the people as a whole. Kohli also announced that his party is going to put up its candidates on about 100 seats in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections across the country and at least two seats in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that a party delegation led by its president will be visiting New Delhi shortly to finalize the list of candidates.
